Our team
We are extremely proud of our team here at EIS. While EIS as a company is new, it is built on the strong reputations of our directors and team, plus the decades of knowledge and experience that stands behind us.
We are more than your average consultancy service – we are passionate about our work and our specialist areas - planning, and strategic and operational approaches for freshwater, coastal, biodiversity and land management.
Our multidisciplinary team works directly with clients to ensure the right skills and resourcing is aligned to each projects goals, maximising efficiency and results with a personalised touch.
Amy Robinson
Director
Amy has over 20 years experience working in the natural resource management sector. Her experience working in both regional and central government, as well as for large development agencies, has provided her with a unique set of skills including the ability to understand complex resource management issues from different perspectives, and to broker mutually agreeable solutions. Amy enjoys seeking pragmatic solutions and partnering with others to achieve positive environmental outcomes.
Amy is a certified RMA Commissioner. She has a Master of Science (Hons) in physical coastal processes.

Eliza Burt-Priddy Consultant
Eliza is an Environmental Consultant for ElS. Eliza has experience providing project management support while assisting in ecological projects, including restoration and waterway management and developing environmental tools. She also has experience in processing farming resource consents on behalf of councils.
Eliza enjoys engaging with communities to produce effective and efficient solutions, with a clear passion for improving local biodiversity. Eliza holds a Master of Conservation Biology (Hons).

Lisa Saywell
Lisa’s passion is all things numbers. With over 20 years of experience in Accounting and Administration, there’s not much that she can’t handle in her role as Finance Manager for EIS.
Her focus is maintaining good relationships and communication within the team and external clients and suppliers. Accurate data entry and invoicing, plus making sure that the business is running smoothly.

Matt Highway
Director
Matt's focus is on working with clients to develop strategic approaches that meet tangible outcomes. Matt has worked in catchment, biodiversity and land management for over 25 years with regional council and for the primary sector. The key for Matt is to ensure efficient effective approaches that work from end to end, and can endure in the long term. This approach has led to the design of tools and scalable solutions.
Matt also operates as the CEO of the New Zealand Association of Resource Management (NZARM). Matt holds a Master of Science in Environmental Science (Hons).

Kristen Froude
Consultant
Kristen has a passion for environmental stewardship, and thrives on getting out in the field and collaborating with a diverse range of people.
Kristen's main focus is delivering delivery of farm plans for waterway management, soil stabilization, biodiversity and biosecurity and takes a hands-on approach to supporting individuals and groups meet their commitment to sustainable practices.
Kristen graduated in 2020 with a Bachelor of Environmental Science from Massey University.
